My name is Jared Pixley and I am running for president.
After watching Trump’s first, disastrous term and now the start of his second, even worse term, I have decided that someone needs to step up and fix the damage done to this country. I am willing to be that man, so I am tossing my hat into the ring as an independent candidate.
Politically, I am progressive on some issues and conservative on others, so I describe myself as a centrist. I hope to be a bridge between the two parties as they are constantly getting further and further apart.
I have worked minimum and low paying jobs for most of my life, though I did run a Taco Bell briefly. I have also worked as a waiter and in a potato factory. For the last six years, I have worked in an Emergency Room at a middle of nowhere hospital. I am not rich, nor am I career politician. I am in touch with the working class Americans because I am one. Trump claims to be a billionaire who avoided paying any taxes, Mitt Romney who ran for president against Obama is a millionaire, Biden was in Congress longer than I’ve been alive and owned three homes when he went to the White House, even Kamala Harris is worth several million dollars. That is not me. I work for a living. And I will take those working class values to the White House. When was the last time we had a working class president?
