June Newsletter

I was watching a video the other day. It was of a CIA agent reviewing some movies and telling what was accurate and what wasn’t. His name was John Kiriakou. I liked him, so I looked into him and found a bit more that made me like him more.

He was a CIA agent. He joined as an analyst in 1990 and worked his way up to chief of counter terrorism in Pakistan. He retired in 2002 and went to the private sector. He returned to government service as a senior investigator for the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. In 2007, he came out as a whistle blower against waterboarding and served 26 months in prison. In 2015 he was a founding member of Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity. He also worked for some news networks.

The fact that he came out against torture indicates that he is ethical. I also read that he is upset with both the democrats and the republicans as they have both sold out to corporations. He has experience in intelligence and counter terrorism, having worked his way up in the Agency. The Senate and ABC News both recognized his experience.

I think he might be a good choice for Director of National Intelligence. My campaign manager also likes him. As I told him, I would have liked an attractive woman giving me my daily briefing every morning, but I cannot complain about having an intelligent, experienced, and ethical person providing me with the information. I’ll just have to hire an attractive secretary.

It is the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States. Considering that, I have a video in the works about the Constitution, the core document of our government. I encourage everyone to study a little about our Revolutionary War and read the Constitution this month in honor of the anniversary. And to watch my video next week.

You can watch my latest video on Youtube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25XtvqsV-jA. It goes into what specific policies I will implement as president.

Thank you for your continued support. Just 29 more months until Election Day.

May Newsletter

It is now May and time for another newsletter. I have been working on a few different pieces, but some of them are not long enough for a video, so I’ll include one of them down below.

You can watched my latest video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0l2RZ_9VrEg

In one of my videos I discussed some things that we could cut from the budget, like reducing ICE’s budget to its Biden era levels and trimming the Department of Defense’s budget. But I have come across some stuff in the last two years that could also be cut.

Let’s start with Pete Hegseth and the Department of Defense. In September 2025, Hegseth spent $22 million for a Pentagon buffet that included Alaskan king crab, lobster, ribeye steak, and salmon. There was also $139,000 on donuts. How many people could be fed with that much money? On top of that, he also spent $100,000 on a grand piano for the Air Force chief of staff, $12,000 on a fruit basket stand, and $225 million on new, luxury furniture that included recliners. But now, Hegseth is begging Congress for more money for the not-a-war in Iran that Trump says we already won. Perhaps he should have used that money to buy more ammunition instead of wasting it on luxury goods. This is a perfect example of the type of waste that needs to be cut.

Then there is Kristi Noem. In January 2025, Trump kicked Coast Guard Commandant Linda Fagan out of her home at the historic Quarters 1 residence, as well as firing Fagan from the Coast Guard. Fagan was given three hours to move out so that Noem could move in. Noem lived there rent free for her term as head of the Department of Justice and, even though she was fired two months ago, she is still living there. But you and I are the ones paying for it.

Next let’s talk about Kash Patel. I had mentioned previously about him using a government jet to go visit his girlfriend. It turns out that was not the only time. He also used a government jet to fly to Italy to drink beer in the US hockey team’s locker room. But we can’t fault him for it. In 2011, the Director of the FBI was added to a list of government officials that “must” travel on a government jet. Those officials do have to reimburse the Department of Treasury for the trips. Christopher Wray, the director of the FBI from 2017 to 2025 was questioned by Congress about using a government jet for personal trips and he explained that legally he had to. I would want to have the Inspector General to make sure Kash Patel is actually paying the government back for the flights. But, I will still hold Kash Patel accountable for his hypocrisy for doing exactly what he criticized Christopher Wray for doing. Also, his assigning a security detail for his girlfriend even though she does not qualify for one. And his incompetence.

All of this is waste, pure and simple. And it is easy to get rid of. This is why we had Inspector Generals. They’re job was to watch for this. And this is why Trump fired so many of them. We need to hire qualified inspectors in all of the agencies.

Additionally, as president I would make sure my Cabinet secretaries and agency heads understand my standards and if they cannot keep them, I will find someone who can.

Thank you for your support. If you want to contribute to my campaign, you can do so here: https://pixleyforpresident.com/donate/

I have $250 out of the $1 billion that I need.

April Newsletter

It is time for my staff and I to file the quarterly report with the Federal Election Commission. As I looked at the numbers for that report, I thought I would go a little deeper for anyone reading this.

The FEC only cares about the money. So far this year, the Pixley for President campaign has received $90 in donations and has spent $245. I really want to increase the amount of donations so I can afford to hire a staff to help me out. A social media person could really increase my numbers and someone could help me do better videos.

The Pixley for President Bluesky account has 5000 followers, Instagram 8 followers, Twitter only 4 followers, our YouTube account has about 300 subscribers, and the month newsletter has 21 subscribers. While I have 300 subscribers on YouTube, several of my videos only have about 16 views.

I had hoped that by now, my numbers would be better. I feel so constrained, so limited. People don’t know who I am. They don’t take me seriously. I write to people and never get any responses.

If you want to help me out, please share my links:

YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHRXn3j8Dv4 and my social media account: https://bsky.app/profile/pixleyforpresident.bsky.social

I just created a playlist on my Youtube channel for new viewers. So if you haven’t watched any, feel free to check that out.

I have also created a new, slightly better donation page: https://secure.anedot.com/pixley-for-president/dafe500c-9f7b-434e-a119-32ebf1d0992a

And if you haven’t checked out my book, it’s available on Amazon. The third edition is out. https://www.amazon.com/Pixley-President-2028-third-Together/dp/B0GDXLN2HP/

Thank you for your help.

The 2028 Election

I happened to take a look at Ballotpedia.com to see who is running in the 2028 election. I wanted to know my competition. And I was surprised to see my name on the list. You can see it for yourself. https://ballotpedia.org/Presidential_candidates,_2028 Go down to “List of registered 2028 presidential candidates” and scroll through the list of names.

Looking at the potential candidates that have expressed interest in running, there is Ted Cruz, Ron DeSantis, Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, and JD Vance from the Republican Party. Donald Trump has also talked about running again. There has also been talk about Tucker Carlson running, but he hasn’t registered yet. On the other side, the Democratic field is pretty crowded with Andy Beshear, Cory Booker, Pete Buttigieg, Rahm Emanuel, Josh Green, Kamala Harris, Mark Kelly, Ro Khana, and Gaven Newsom all having expressed interest in running. The media has also speculated that JB Pritzker, Josh Shapiro, AOC, Jon Stewart, and Gretchen Whitmer might run. For independent candidates, there is Andrew Yang and RFK JR.

Various polls, inside the two parties, and nationwide show JD Vance and Kamala Harris winning their primaries and then Harris winning the election 48% to 42%. I have nothing against Kamala Harris, but I think I can do better than her. She’s a career politician and has flip flopped on issues during her time. And I have a lot against JD Vance. Neither of them are in touch with the working class. However, I know that polls can and will change, especially once the debates start. The poll numbers don’t matter that much, its just a measure of how popular they are at that time. My subscriber and view numbers are just a measure of my popularity, which is rather low at the moment. The number that really matters is 70 million, that’s the number of votes I will need to win the election in two and a half years.

Recently Atlanta Airport announced that congress members have to wait in line with everyone else. I hope that this serves as a reminder to them that they are the employees of the people. Unlike congress members, I have never been able to skip the lines at airports. I have always rubbed shoulders with everyone else. I am working class. My friends and family are working class. I understand what most of this country needs and wants and that is one of the reasons why I will be a good president.

February Newletter

The Federal Budget

I have done a two part video on my thoughts on the federal budget and changes that I would like to make, such as ending tax cuts for the rich, ending our coal subsidy, and some wasteful spending. In the second part I talk about where I would like to spend more money, such as healthcare and education. The videos are available on youtube, you can watch them here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7GSGhiQsW3A and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3N9vFbFweI

Virtual Town Hall

I want to thank everyone who attended my first virtual town hall. There was not a big turnout, but there were some good questions. I understand that not everyone was able to attend due various reasons, such as work or other commitments. I uploaded it to the internet so you can watch it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqwboxLfHx0 I will do another town hall on February 28th at 2pm eastern time

Staffing Needs

Now that I have started my campaign in earnest, my campaign needs staff. I have a manager (though I don’t think he knows he’s my manager) and a treasurer who is working for free as long there is no real work. We have only $50 in campaign contributions and have spent $20. The FEC does not require reports until we hit $5000, so my treasurer has an easy job. I could really use a Social Media Person, but that might require about a hour of real work a day, which assuming a 5 day work week at minimum wage would come to $300 a month. I would also like some advisors on economics, education, and healthcare (or at least people willing to answer questions). If you know anyone who might be interested in helping me out, please refer them to me. They can always reach me at this email or through the contact link on my website. Let’s work on getting this campaign going strong.

January Newsletter

It is now a new year. Welcome to 2026, everyone. I hope that your year is better than last year. For me, this is the year that I really kick off my presidential campaign. As part of that, I have added a donation link on my website: https://pixleyforpresident.com/donate/

Presidential campaigns are expensive. In the 2024 presidential election, both major candidates spent over a billion dollars each. I can only assume that for the 2028 election it will cost even more. So, if you can afford to, please help me out.

I will also start doing town hall meeting to get my name out there, probably in March.

I have also made a lot of progress on the third edition of my book, Pixley For President. I will probably send it to Amazon this month.

Recently, I start studying about presidential transitions. They are a lot more involved than I had thought. I knew about all the appointments that the president needs to make and how they interview five or more people for each position. But recently I learned about the process of getting them their security clearance and bringing them up to speed. George W. Bush’s transition team had about 800 staffers and, just after the election, they received forty thousand applications for various government positions.

Looking back over the last year, I can imagine how I would deal with situations that were in the news, such as the destruction of the East Wing, the Abrego Garcia case, and the tariffs. However, there are still three years till election day and the country could change a lot before then. I do not know what problems I might be facing if elected. But, I hope that my thoughts on recent issues are enough to earn your continued support.

If anyone is interested, I have various social media accounts. You are welcome to follow me.

I have also just put out a new video to kick off the near year. It’s another introduction video, but I think its a little better than my first one. You can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gLeVQocVo7Y

December Newsletter

As the Christmas season draws closer, allow me to wish you all a Merry Christmas and happy holidays. I know that a lot of people are suffering at this time of year. Almost 1.2 million people have lost their jobs this year. For those of you that have extra, please give what you can to your local food banks or directly to someone in need.

For those of you in the north, I hope you are staying warm. It has been snowing almost every day for me. A lot of families will be gathering together for the holidays. If any of you are traveling, I hope you are able to do it safely. And I hope you can get along with your extended families. Try to find common ground instead of focusing on your difference. Let us make this a season for unity.

I have been working on the third edition of my book, Pixley for President. I’ve fixed some typos, made some minor edits, and added another chapter about current events. I still have a few more additions that I am working on. It might be ready in late January. Also in the new year, I will start accepting campaign donations. Feel free to save your pennies and send them to me next month.

Have a merry Christmas, everyone. And a happy New Year.

The Government Shutdown

My latest video is up on Youtube. In it I talk about who is effected and who is at fault and how I think they should fix things. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FI1DleNAVvo

After making the video, I saw a news post that thousands of flights will be canceled later this week if the shutdown continues. With the holidays around the corner, if this continues many more people will be effected. Studies have also shown that driving instead of flying results in more deaths due to the increase in car accidents. Death could be a side effect of the shutdown. I hope they are able to extend the Affordable Care Act subsidies so that we can get the government running again before this happens.

September Newsletter

As the leaves start to change color here in Northern New York, it gets me thinking that wouldn’t it be great if our country could change, too. Maybe we can. My name is Jared Pixley and I am running for president in 2028.

I just uploaded a video to Youtube about the recent news coming out of the CDC with Susan Monadez’s firing and the wave of resignations. You can find it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cg6HSOTaBY0 In short, I think it is bad. If I were in office, I would ensure that we had a director of the CDC and a Secretary of HHS that was trained in medicine and knew how to help the people.

A few other recent thoughts that I have had include the news from the Fed. The Federal Reserve System needs to be an independent agency as they influence the economy. The value of the dollar, inflation, and the economy is volatile. Members of the Board of Governors are appointed for a fourteen year term, so they serve longer than a president does and have no loyalty to the man in the Oval Office. If the president were able to alter the value of the dollar on a whim, to make it stronger in order to win reelection, it could ultimately do more damage in the long run. It is so easy to cause a recession.

Someone online messaged me claiming that the US has not deported any American citizens. I did a quick search to provide links to news stories to prove my points and found a Wikipedia page titled “US Citizens Deported by Trump during Second Term”. He has deported so many citizens that they made a Wikipedia page about it.

The final thing that I want to discuss today is the problem with the two party system. We can see it every day. Over the last twenty or more years, experts have studied Congress and how many bipartisan bills are introduced. The number has been decreasing year by year, thus suggesting that there has been less cooperation between the parties year by year. The gulf between has grown, the fighting between parties has become more visible in the news, and the two sides have become more extreme. Each election cycle it has become more important to them to win the supermajority so that they don’t need the help from the other party and then they can push their party’s platform, regardless of what the people actually need. We can see this in the Supreme Court right now and all the laws and precedents that they have overturned. We need more independents and third party members in Congress to break up the majorities and force people to reach across the aisle. People to serve as a bridge between the parties. Let’s get the Green Party a seat or two and the Working Families Party and the Reform Party.

Thank you all for your time. I will see you here again next month.

If you want to hear to more, you can follow me on my website, instagram, youtube, and bluesky, the links are below. And if you do not want to hear more, just reply and say “unsubscribe” and I will remove you from the list.
