It’s October. Halloween is fast approaching. I need to buy some candy before the rush starts. But if you are looking for something scary to watch, DC is the place to see. You have Zombie Mitch McConnel in the Senate, the dog killing Kristi Nome, and of course Jabba Trump. Washington seems like a scary place right now. There are all sorts of ghouls and specters.
In my recent video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-EMvAx1CgJs, I talk about the 26 articles of impeachment against Trump and why we should not get our hopes up just yet. With the House on recess, they can’t vote on the articles. Maybe next year we will get some progress.
One thing that I did not discuss in my video, as it was a little off topic, is that there is another outcome. After the trial in the Senate, they could vote to just censure the president. A censure does nothing. It means that the Senate does not like what the president did, but they do not want to actually punish him. That is a possible outcome, but I hope Trump does get removed from office.
I have been working on a pamphlet to mail out, as well as getting a list of addresses to send it to. I can’t afford to do too many at the moment, but I might be able to reach a few new people that will start sharing the word. I have attached the latest draft of the pamphlet to this email. If you know of anyone to send it to, please send me their address and I’ll add it to the list.
I have also been looking for a fundraiser person. I have a few inquiries out there, but I am still waiting for people to get back to me. Hopefully I can find someone that will help me get some contributions. If I can spend $500 to get $5000, I will be happy.
